Its quite hard to find exactly what your looking for but if you choose "search for all terms" your results will be more precise.

Good luck with it :D

I am currently running Ground Hogs, wich are a couple of tyres up the page from mongrels, had em on since early march i think, and have already worn about halfway  , i assume the mongrels are retreads/remoulds too??

On that note, whats the diff with Monoform, Remould, and Retread??

I have them, they are awesome in mud.

Make a lot of noise on the road, should last ages on the zook using them only as offroad tyres.

Monoform, Remould, and Retread??

Of there site, remmeber reading it a while ago:

MONOFORM

The "Monoform" is a registered product of Motorway Tyres and is our premium grade of remanufactured product.

The tyre is retreaded bead-to-bead (ie both the Tread and the Sidewall have new rubber). Some people argue this gives the Sidewall a greater level of protection.

The very best of raw materials are sourced world wide and when combined with the highest grade of tyre casings available, this results in a final product that is not only attractive but can boast exceptional performance.

The Monoform is available in our Passenger, 4WD and Light Commercial product ranges.

REMOULD

A "Remould" is an appealling bead-to-bead remanufactured tyre(ie both the Tread and Sidewalls have new rubber). Our Remould range is produced using our standard grade of tread rubber and competitively priced for the discerning consumer.

RETREAD

A "Retread" tyre is retreaded from shoulder-to-shoulder (ie Tread area only) and is produced with our standard grade of tread compound.

Retread is cheaper than remold, so i got that.

$145 each if u were wondering...

My 32x10.5R15 mongrels have been on my zook for 15months now, they have stood upto a lot of abuse, some slices in the lugs but no chipping or tearing and they are wearing well and on 7 inch rims I can air down to 7psi and have not lost 1 off the rim yet.

Great for mud, snow, gravel, anything soft and loose.
They suck (compared to mtr's or most other $300/corner tyre) on higher traction surfaces like rocks and they are speed limited to 120km/h.

When new driving on the wet road was real exciting but since the hard cured skin has worn off i am surprised how good they are in the wet.

My street pressure is 22 psi anything more and the ride gets quite rough in the zook and it only runs on the center 2 circumferal lugs in the center of the tyre

I like them for what they are and would get them again.

Sorry for the hijack flynn but i may want to get these oneday if the wear aint too bad :D ... they very similar tread to centipeded arent they?

And My45 - askin again is sooooo much easier than searchin through 5 threads with 2-3 pages each  :D

Well they seem to wear pretty quick if u drive about on them for a year etc., and from what i have seen the middle and side lugs wear evenly, not sure if the noise will get more or less though :/

There prolly not designed for a road tyre, just a cheap simex ET retread..

My zook is a 50% of the time a daily driver. It shares the duties with a GU patrol, It has done 15000 since the tyres were added and has used up 2-3 mm of tread. I crawl over most obsticals with dif locks and low gearing and try not to generate wheel spin on the more abrasive surfaces like rocks, this probably helps with tire life (and CV's too).

I wouldnt expect them to last real long pushed with either weight or power -- but what the hell I drive a zook and in std form has neither and im a cheap bastard to boot.

I got mine at an insane price of $100 for all 5 monoforms, just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I think they are normally $180 each or somthing like that. The remoulds are about $145 and the retreads $110-ish.

Even if I paied full price I would be happy.

I have 2" body, 2" extended shackles and they are on 15x18 offset rims so they dont touch the springs but they rub on the front when articulating (the rear of the arch..) ... need to go a bit higher i rekon, might need a spring lift too...

Attached a pic, they sit a fair way back in the arches, so higher springs should take it lower down and a bit further forward.

I have 2" body lift, 1.5" springs and revolver shackles front and rear.
I catch the plastic rear corners on the std rear bar slightly at full stuff, the front is fine clearsthe firewall by 15mm and everything else by 5mm with a 20mm bump stop extention except the springs.

I have bashed the firewall back a little to help with the clearence.

I just catch the springs on full lock and full stuff on the front.

Here is some pics of my junk, diagonal wheels up wheelramps with a besablock under the wheelramp.

I need longer shocks than the std Jeep TJ ones fitted at the moment

I use the Mongrel retreads in 31's. I paid $155 fitted and balanced.
Was quoted about $180 for remoulds/monoforms, but at that stage, were only one sided. I prefer the softer sidewalls of retreads.
Had them around 11 months, still going well. I love em to death, but would still recommend "real" simex tyres if you can afford them

I put the mud terrain RETREAD on my old MK for a 95 bucks each. Hat to put 125 grams of weight on one on them though  , I did about 25,000k's on it before I sold it & they never gave any problems with shaking or separation. There were numerous trips to the coast in that time including a coubple towing a 16 ft boat.

If I had that sort of vehicel again which was most comfotable at 100 max I would buy them again. When I sold the truck they were only about 1/4 worn.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.

that wouldn't help, never got around to putting anything in members.
I have 2"/50mm body lift.
40mm OME suspenson.
Slightly longer shackles.
front diff forward 22mm
rims are offset 60mm or so (not sure I bought them done)
And front wheel arches are trimmed, with a bit of bashing of seems etc.
front bumpstops extended by 20mm.
with this setup there is no scrubbing at all.
With standard springs(=less travel) there would be less rubbings.
