4 link rear in a hilux
im looking at do a link rear in my hilux it needs to be cheap but work and able to be legal i have been read all the bibble stuff and extra can any one post some detail pic and measurement

The cheapestand easiest option is to buy a complete surf rear end with chasis cut.(or 4runner)
It will give you a factory 5 link.
Engineers love the words "factory parts".
With a bit off work you can get them to flex quite well.
Bonus is bye bye leaves and hello coils.
But note , it will never be as good in the flex department as a complete
custom design.
Cheers

At best a surf/4runner rear will give approx 10" of travel before control arms start binding, so is it really worth the effort. The cheapestand easiest option is to buy a complete surf rear end with chasis cut.
I think before you start any thing speak to some engineers to see what you can or can't do in your state.
