Ive finished the SOA on my MQ, but need to cut a section out of the crossmember to fit the front driveshaft. Does anyone have any pics of how they went about it? Maybe u screwey? Need it to pass rego too :roll:
06 Grand Vitara Prestige, 2" lift, Kumho A/Ts, ARB winch bar, snorkel, spotties. Also a Regal 2150 LSC Volva Penta 350 gsi duoprop, and a kayak ;-)

Look at the V8Patrol thread, he moved the hole crossmember backwards. I think this is the best solution.

Kingy moved both mine, his, and juddys cross members all back about 6 inches to clear.....

Dr frankenstine has posted a pic before of his notched out..... but you could just cut a section and plate around the edges...
