Jimny power steering

Post by NIK »

Im getting together the parts for the conversion, so far Ive converted the single v pulleys to multi v. I got the crank pulley off a swift as it has a 4 bolt pattern, a vit water pump pulley and a swift alternator (which bumped the output from 35amps to 60amps).
I had a vit power steering set up in the shed already but a complete (so I thought) jimny power steering set up came up at a good price and id heard these are a bolt on deal.
My question is does the jimny pump bracket bolt up? I have the bracket off the vit but it makes the pump to low and it hits the radiator support.
I did search but couldnt find reference to this aspect.
Thanks for any thoughts Nik.

Just put Vitara P/Steer on it.
It is not that much of a mod to do.
I have it with 35s and it works fine
