Guessing i would need reinforcong on the inside of the tray?

I am lead to believe that these are rare, the surf boys are always on the lookout . I ended up just making one for my 4runner

Yes, the surfs that have the rear carrier are reinforceing in the quater panel. Also if you in QLD and NSW the carrier needs to be extented 35mm to meet DOT approval.
