hey all, need your knowledge....looking at an 80 series which is an imported truck. Its a 1990 vehicle,low km's turbo diesel.Is there anything to look for/anything majorally different to the aussie ones?

The 24V starting system is the major difference, but the rest should be very similar. If you're lucky you may get one with an icebox in the console :cool:

good truck, all the bmajor bits are the same as local ones, CHANGE THE BIG END BEARINGS with the ACL branded items. it's a 2 - 3 hour, 3 banana job that gives instant peace of mind.
