By the way Besty your "normal" 31" tyres are huge compared to the stock 225/70R15 tyres. (Try ~ 27.4" for the 225/70R15!)[/quote]

Question about this, was just doing a few sums trying to workout the actual size of a 31 inch tyre.

From the thread "What tyre size are you running" I had kinda assumed a 235/75/15 would be a 31 inch tyre but after some number crunching seems its only a 29 inch? I've got what I think are 29s already so need something bigger!

Anyone got the actual size of a 31 inch for use on a Feroza with no lift?

Cheers

31 inch tyres wont fit unless you lift your feroza otherwise you'll get some major rubbing.
Most 31 inch tyres are over 10 inches wide. Try looking for something a bit narrower but seriously if your going to fit 31's atleast do a 2 inch lift.

OK, radial tyres WILL wear on the outside when over-inflated!

40psi is WAY too much pressure unless you're on a race track or driving REAL hard on the dirt.

Around 26psi is ideal for the Feroza, depending on tyres. I usually run around that with 30 x 9.5/15 BFG Muddies. Anything higher and you do feel it.

Mudflaps....should be able to leave 'em on for anything up to 235/75 x 15. Anything larger and the fronts will prolly have to go. With torsion bars wound up, 30 x 9.5 shouldn't rub except under exceptional circumstances. Anything bigger and you need to start cutting and/or do a bodylift. Apologies if I've repeated anything others have said, but it's been a loooong day
