Should be good if its wet!!

What the format will be is that the friday will be a bit informal and people will just be doing practice runs. I think some of the guys will be out there mid morning so no need for anybody to rush out there on Friday to watch the guys. There will still be a little bit of setting up to do during friday and we will get a bit of a feel as to what we need to do to entertain the crowd.

On Saturday and Sunday we will be setting it up as more of a demonstration competition. We are basically running the demo to something similar to the Superior All Terrain event at Crusa Park. We have basically set up some crab holes and some pipes and stuff to drive over and a shipping container with ramped approach and deperture. The whole thing is set on the side of a hill so the shipping container can be driven from the up hill side (sort of easy) and from the down hill side (climb would be about 4 foot higher than the actual container). So we should have enough stuff out there to have a bit of fun. Im thinking that on Saturday and Sunday we will just do a run through at say 11am and then another at 3pm but these times arnt for sure cause we dont know what times other things are happening out there.

So if you are comming out then to watch or be involved in the demo you will need to be very flexable cause we will just be sorting out everything as we go along. The best bit about all this is that Powercruise is a massive street nachine show and there is PLENTY OF EVERYTHING to see and keep everyone entertained.

Should be bloody good fun.

That course will be awesome in the wet

The crab holes should be more like bog holes after all of this rain - that's assuming that they actually got some of it.

Deff not Canceled. Thousands of people out there yesterday and didnt get a drop of rain the entire time i was there.

Burnout Comp was good. But i just didnt have the HP to turn 35s in High Range and Low range with a 5-1 transfer just doesnt get em spinning fast enough to make great smoke. But i had fun anyway. Just about to leave and head out there now. Should be another great day.

Had a ball today, powercruise is a great event and anyone in Brissy or close to brissy that enjoys fast cars should head out for a look.

The container proved to be a great obstacal, we started driving over it and have a bit of a play around, smoking up the tyres to get the crowd over worked pretty well :D .

It wasn't long until i figured that we are there to put on a show so we did. :D Sam has some Pics that he might post up.

All in all, Myself, Ruff and Tom played hard and busted our shiat big time.

I broke a link off, due to some poor penetration an a weld  , Ruff snapped his rear pinion straight off and Tom broke a hiem joint that then twisted the rear pinion off aswell.

Humphey and the Mog didn't break, but they didn't play as hard as we did. :finger: :D

Unfortunatly, due to our busted arses we won't be putting a display on tomorrow, to much to fix in to short of time.

So we left Boff and Mick out there. Last reports were that they had found the "Miss Powercruise" stand and made themselves at home.

A big thanks to Dave and everyone at Powercruise for allowing us to try something like this at a streetcar meet.

Got plenty of feedback from all of the "revheads" that were there and watched us, they all loved it and really could not beleive that vehicles could do what we were doing.

Big thanks to Sam for organising the container getting everything out there.

Thanks to Micka for all teh bobcat work.

And thanks to Mickey Thompson for supplying a great set of tyres that smoke up quite well :D

Yeah, its a bit of a shame. Especially when you see the photos, a vid would have been very cool.

I think when we have 10 or so buggy's with drivers in them all, a weekend like this is more doable. If three break theres still good numbers to keep it going. At the moment its a bit hard.

But it was hell fun!!

Today is shot anyway - apparantly its very wet. Just spoke to Rod and the guys that are still out there are towing all the street cars out of the place. Rod said that Boff is onto his 20th tow and just pelting everybody with mud.

The place is a complete mess...very muddy and Rod and I got told to leave by a 'NASTY' raceway official because we drove down the slippery hill and the HSE slipped slightly sideways

After being told to stop 'ripping' up the hills from towing cars out, the guys decided they would pack up and leave, good luck to them getting the remaining cars out of there as its VERY slippery.

Very unfortunate for this to happen, bloody rain :x

I went out there to pick up my buggy and noticed that it was a big mess....

thumbs up to those who helped the cars that were stuck..

I have no idea why the officials would be arseholes especially when they should be helping everyone get out... Im pretty sure if boff or the homeless and the others who helped get the stuck cars out wernt hassled by the officials.. you'd have bet that most of us would have stayed back to help everyone get out. Even Mick in the mogrover was ready to head back out today to help everyone get out.. but once he got word from rod about the officals behaviour.. he pulled the pin...

Otherwise... I had a great time saturday.. enjoyed it :D :D.. bugger bout the heim joint.. was a good warning sign that i need to change my upper links to stronger ones :D

BTW... - 80lsy GQ - thanks for having us there.. i enjoyed myself :D

not all the officals were assholes  we were the ones pulling people out, except then we officals started to get yelled at by other officals becuase we were ripping up the grass/dirt, but in the end everyone got out so it was ok.
