NSW CTP Insurance... Eak!

Post by DrCarlo »

I cant believe that out of all the cars I own / have owned the zook is the most expensive for ctp.

The RTA put down on my rego forms that the shape is a UTE, and because i am under 25 my rego is gonna cost me 735 dollars for CTP.

So my question..

A. is the thing really classified as a ute, has anyone changed this before?
B. who do you guys use for CTP and what does it cost you (under 25's in particular).

Cheers for any help..

Carlo

When my zook was rego'd it never cost me much for the CTP. I have a feeling it was only about $300(it was a couple of years ago so i can't really remember), that was as a 20yr old, rego'd as a ute. It definitely wasn't $700. But I do live in a country area.
