Window Nets

Post by Tiny »

I have a new supplier that will be making up window nets to size for comps, ie no more fitting crap over or under sized ill fitting generic one size nets to your rig for comps. I should have some pricing finalized for tommorow, and have GQ, GU, 80, 100 and 40 with and without 1/4 window for patters, the Q is who would be interested in a set ? if you dont have one of the vehicles listed above all i need is a paper or cardboard cout out of the window and I can get them patterned and made for you, pricing will follow.

Cheers

Tiny

I need to do a bulk order for these, so if anyone needs some I really ned an order of 8 to make it price effective. can do custome fit for any car, can get templates for GQ, GU, MQ, 80 & 100...any others you will need to trace your window on paper, cut it out and send it to me. they include quick release on the op, sail track on the bottom and are the ribbon type not webbing

Ok, windown nets are made to the size of your window, they incluse sail track with beading on the net to fit into it at the botom of the net. This sail track will need to be fitted to the bottom of he door with teck svrews or rivets. the top of the tet is secured with a quick release mechinism with a bar and a spring loaded catch. the catch on both sided need to be attached to the top of the door or roof. straps for the side are availale if required.

the total cost of two (2) nets with the sail track AND the quick release system will be $300.00 inc freight aus wide for OL members ($150.00 per side). Yes generic window nets are available cheaper, but these are made to fill you entire window, secure easily, tightly and SAFELY without impeding the veiw through the window. For eg, the generis window nets on my car fit on the window wioh the webbing straight through my line of site to the rear veiw mirrors on both sides and most of my veiw to the fron wheels without trying to poke my head around.

If I have enough orderd by COB thursday I should be able to get them for Trials.

If your car is not listed above I will need a paper template to work from. the template should take in the full inside shape of the window with the window wound down.

Wrist restraints and generic window nets are also available.

If anyone has any question please email my as below, PM me or ph 02 9894 8400

Cheers

Adam

$300.00 a set seems a little pricey in my books.

by the time you buy 2 generic nets and quick releases etc you are looking at a little over $200.00 If you want custom type to fit things, especially with the extra stuff on these you unforunatly have to pay a few more dollars. In my book decent fitting nets are worth the extra dollars, but it is personal preference
