If insurance is gonna be a hassle due to your age (and the engine transplant) then go the Paj.

Otherwise though, no question the 4runner.

i own a runner and very happy with it. The running gear is more stronger in the runner then the paj i'm going to fit a 1KZTE to my runner very shortly.

a gq?

Post by known 2 »

that would be the cheap option and dude i own a 80 series and it rocks buying a gq would be a step backwards but the question was for a friend not me i like the paj very strong running gear especialy front cv in the v6 and with a bit of tinkering under the front end u can get 4,5 inches out of them the thing i worry with the 4 runner there narrow.

and whats a s.a.s conversion?

Drive both, and buy the one you like. They're both capable. Mind you, the dunnydore V6 would be a nice motor off road and the 4runner already has a 4" lift.

Considering how high a lux is (let alone a 4 runner with the high tin top) then WHY THE HELL YOU NEED 4" lift to run 32"?

Cmon guys they had a factory 7.50R16 option in the lux and 31" as standard on the 4runner?

Only reason I can see is... malling.... or to roll the freaking thing over.
