Maruti utes?

Post by x rated »

Anyone know if the b pillar on an 88 sierra is suitable to fit on a Maruti ute and retain the fibreglass roof?

Would appreciate any comments.

Thanks

Can't see why not. I have a Maruti top on my 84 LWB and it fits no worries. As far as I can tell the Maruti B-pillar is the same.

AFAIK they are the same. There was a zuki fs on here a while ago and it had the Maruti thing on it.

yep. they are the same. I just swaped my maruti top and b pillar onto my SWB. the only difference is that the maruti b pillar has a few holes in it where the fibreglass ute back fixes to it.....otherwise they are the same.

Where can I get hold of a Maruti roof? Anywhere in Melb at a reasonable cost?

Yup I remember these now that you mention it. I drilled the extra holes in my Sierra B pillar and fitted them with nutserts.
