Any opinioins on what the best size for a TJ winch is? I'm thinking small, like 6/8000LBS, as I like that my tj is nice and light, not half winch, half truck!
Also I have just fitted 31' Muddies (up from stock) I was getting about 13l/100Ks with a 6 speed box. What should I expect to get now, considering the speedo is out a bit too?

winch
13L/100kms that is good - i get about 15L/100kms
8000lb winch is perfect not too heavy you could also upgrade to plasma rope to further reduce weight - on a lowmount you need to be careful of the winch drum heating the rope.

Could be because I drive like an old lady, but I think the 6spd gearbox helps a bit. I actually find that the gearing makes more sense (feels better) with bigger wheels on.
Does anybody know how to adjust the speedo back to true, after upsizing the wheels. I need this to be 100% for navigation.
