fitting recaro seat to a 75
has anyone fitted recaro (genuine) seats to a 75 series cruiser ute. bench seat on the passenger side. is there any way of doing it easily without a fabrication workshop or buying the kit directly from recaro?????
hi mate i just put some saas seat in my hilux which had a bench seat in it
i revoved the old seats cut and unbolted the rails did some grining work to make them flat drilled afew holes in the rails and bolted them to the underside of the new seats lined up two of the standard position and redrilled two holes in the cab floor
then seats lined up perfect and no welding required
might be a bit different to your cruzer so i would say pull the stadards seats out and have a good look at it wasnt real hard
also one last thing the 1.5 seat was just a case of unbolting the rails drilling one hole and bolting them on no grinding or anything
so easy

ok, rang recaro today and they have a kit for the 75, this is the quikest and easiest way to get it done. He wants them in b4 mud bulls (read - his missus wants them in b4 mud bulls) bit exy but still cheaper than buying the seats brand new so it should all just bolt straight in......
ill let ya's know thursday arvo when they get here
