Problem with Rockhopper install
Problem with Rockhopper install
Ive just installed a set of rockhopper gears, had no problems with getting them in, but after I put the transfer case back together I couldnt shift into two wheel drive. I can shift from 4H to 4L and back, it engages easily and the gears turn smoothly.
I think that the bigger gears might be getting in the way of the shift fork preventing engagment of 2WD. Ive heard that the shift fork may also need some grinding back, but its hard to see where the contact is. I dont know if this is the actual problem or if its just something else ive stuffed up
Any help or advice would be much appreciated
Cheers
