Reviving this thread from the dead - does anyone have a good diagram for the vaccuume hoses on a G13A from a sierra?

I can't for the life of me find where the hose from the charcoal canister hooks up..?? (someone else removed the engine from the engine bay and can't remember anymore) :( :bad-words:

I've looked at the service manual pics, and they only show it vanishing in the vicinity of the drivers' side of the carby..

Even if someone would just post a pic of where it goes, i'd MUCH appreciate it :D

Thanks
Marty

The carbon canister breaths from the intake manifold vacume, check near the base of the carb on the inntake manifold for a vacume port. I think its facing the firewall.

thanks - problem is i can't see the :bad-words: thing anywhere

got a wonderful pic of the carb itself, but nowhere do they bother telling you which one comes from the charcoal canister :(

Got my zook back and looked for you and u cant see it on them pics because where it attaches is on the rear of the carby down lower (ie facing the firewall) than the pics show, its on the bit of metal the carby bolts onto.

Would take a pic but the batteries r flat atm and cant find power cable :/

Should be like the only one there facing the firewall, on that spacer block

thanks guys - looked there a bit before (not much, i thought it would attach to the carby, not the manifold!) but saw nothing - mind you i was looking in 100 other places, so now that i have somewhere to concentrate more on..... :P

hmm - nope, still can't see anything there - there's bugger all room under the throttle assembly etc for a hose to go in anyway.....
