P38 coil conversion issues

Post by lilpigzuk »

Anyone had vibration issues after doing a coil conversion on a P38?? Know of one that has a "off road height" coil spring lift and has got a drive line vibration at speed - ie over the speed that the airbag setting allows - 70kph + (so cant compare whether its a speed thing or height difference issue)
Im guessing the pinion angle difference that you get when you lift a vehicle, but not many have done a P38 lift so would like answers that have had it done.
Vehicle has done 200,000km+ so do expect all the other small "wears" to add up to one big vibration maybe?? :?

No idea really, but you shouldn't have any driveline wobbles within 2" lift above normal height.
Maybe check each diff still has its vibration damper attached.
(big iron disc bolted outside diff carriers - would not want to see one of those babies let loose on the freeway)

BTW off-road setting re-negs at 55kph.
