last year id say day 2 was holding the better and more difficult events, but was boring as for the drivers who were lined up and waiting for ages and ages....

day 2 has the mud run and has the stairway to heaven, wombat holes and trees revenge.....

cant think of the names of the events from day one but were definatly not as fun to watch from a spectator side of things...

screwy :D

Wendy said that they have removed a lot of obsticals that drivers were getting stuck on last year. she said they did this so drivers can get further on stages with less recoveries and better spectator viewing.

Were there some tough sections last year??

wat we saw at willoglen is definatly not as challenging as the courses at Nissan Trials as i remember them from last year... Though last year i was in standard not open and was having trouble wiht most of the events as you would in a stock patrol.....

Will definatly be good fun, i have half finished my new Track bar and after that im pretty much ready for it

Hi all,
Yep its getting close now.
Just to answer some questions...
Wekend fees...$80 per vehicle and 2 x adults
$20 per additional adult
Kids under 16 are free

Day trippers..$50 per vehicle and 2 x adults
$20 per additional adult
same deal for young kids

Gate times Friday 11am (not before)
close 1.00am (they will charge a $10 levy for late bods)
Sat. 6.am - 1.am same deal for coming late
Sun 6.am - closing when we've decided we've had enough!
NO...firearms , pyrotechnics, dogs (no matter how big, small, well behaved. You will be asked to leave) NO glass. yes this does mean beer.

Location. If you set your kms on the Windsor bridge it is nearly dead on 60kms up the Putty Rd toward Singleton. You will see signs as you get close and the entrance will be well reconised.
Last fuel/ food/ beer is at Colo caravan park.
Very limited digital phone reception. CDMA in a number of spots.
Bring your own water. There will be BBQ food and drinks for sale all weekend(daytime).
Toilets but no showers.

Thats all I can think of for now...Just ask

Cheers
Wendy

Fair call. I think I'd just rather support the events by buying T-shirts and stuff while there. But alas, If a price has to be paid, I'll be paying it...

FAQ...Do you get another car in on your cometitors pass?

7 x Gate Passes – We work on the basis of there being one pass for each competing vehicle including the reserve, plus one pass each for the Team Manager and a Support Vehicle (eg team mechanic). However, who you give the passes to is entirely at your discretion. It should be noted that if a pass is not produced (for whatever reason) at the entry gate, normal entry fees will apply. If a pass is forgotten, the person should ask for a receipt and a refund will be provided at the gate during the weekend when the pass is produced. No refunds will be given after the conclusion of the Trials weekend.
If a competitor wishes his/her family to travel in the family car (instead of the competition vehicle,
that family vehicle will be admitted on the pass only if it accompanies the competition vehicle
through the gate. If not, normal charges will apply to the vehicle that does not have the pass.

This does not mean you get a car load of mates in 'cause the missus isn't comin' It is because sometimes the comp car is not set up to carry the family. But they must come in together.

At this point in time I should make a few reminders for the competitors...

If any of your licence, rego or insurance has expired since sending in you paper work you must bring the renewals with you to Class Verification. I have this info on a laptop and you will be asked.
I have notified several of you in passing but for the rest of you... All vehicles are expected to have window nets unless you have a hybrid that can't accomadate them then you should have applied for and exemption via me. Otherwise your reserve will be getting a drive....Its for your own safety.

Talking of t-shirts and gear, just remember there is no EFTPOS at the site so bring cash.

12 sleeps to go ;)
