Lower Gearing

Post by Jay »

With lower gearing ratios say a 93:1 instead of my current 52:1 on first low will CR&P breakages become more common since the couple hence the torque is higher with more crawling ratio

thanks

i guess it comes back to #1 what r&p do you have, #2 what size tyres, #3 how heavy on the right pedel are you.

i guess if this is the way you are going just do it nad if you break alot of r&p's go the toy route.
