driving home in the rain tonight in the '93 JLX LWB Vitara, went to lower the drivers side electric window an inch or 2, press the button & BANG! the glass drops down into the door - press the button, no joy!
after 25km driving in the rain, i'm into the shed, popped of the interior panel, unscrewed the electric window motor to see that the top cable which runs to the top of the centre window guide has come off at the glass end.
the problem i have is that i can't see where or to what it is supposed to be attached. i can just see the 'pulley' at the top of the centre guide for the cable to go over, otherwise nothing to suggest "attach cable here"
would anyone out there know how to fix this, or have a scanned image of the door from a detailed mechanic manual?
any help appreciated
cheers
