Didn't take you long to work out why no one else gets me to spot for them!

I think the funniest moment was at the BOG hole where i was telling everyone to hit it in 2WD, Beebee and punchy went straight threw after trowing some nice rooster tails with his Jt2's!

OK who's next!

Nick and RUFF

I didn't even bother telling them to hit it 2WD as the look on RUFF face said it all!

Now before we go any further Nick was the second last of our group (me and ferwoaza were stuck behind some stockers!

Anyway Nick plunges in and gets the MTR's (remember 37 mtr's) spinning like they were on a 3 day binge of ecky  , forward and back, forward and back until the diffs are nearly touching the thick sticky mud!

So then he pops into 4wd and OFF they went!! :x

Next up was a friggin stocker hilux that had bald street terrains and a driver that admitted to me that this was only his second time out!

OK line up the high parts of the RUTS and DRIVE IT, so he plunges in and slips straight into NICKS ruts :D :D Man was he stuck!!!

Ok just hook the strap up to NICK and pull them out, NO because they had taken off and left me to get these stockers threw!

Thanks guys!

Anyway with may EXPERT MUD driving skill   i managed to get 4 stockers threw!

Needlees to say we over took them at the earliest possible chance! :D :D

Just got some sketchy reports of results.

1st - Andy Gerding and some lady (not his wife. )
2nd - Not sure. Will find out.
3rd - Nick & Tony (RUFF)

Last cars into finish about 2:30am apparently. (I wasn't there). That's gotta be one of the earliest finishes on a Logan night run since I've been in the club.

The next one is going to be a smaller run as we have a lot of club members going to the winch challenge the weekend before, and some of us are travelling on after that. So, I for one, won't be at the next night run, and we are trying to find someone who has the time to put it on. Andy Gerding is interested, but it depends on if he destroys his ute in the winch challenge. If he does, it might just be a tag-along through Ormeau or something. Either way, we'll do something. The club hasn't missed a night run in 20 years, and we're not about to start. At this stage, we'll be meeting at Red Rooster at Beenleigh at 7:30pm on the 5th of July. This is subject to change, so I'll keep you all informed.
Simon.

LOL forgot about the Rally stage

Planting it and fanging it through the trees was the only thing I could do when I had a Monster Zuk sounding like a WRC car come screaming up behind me. POS was right into it "HARD LEFT, LONG EASY RIGHT"

Quiet zones? What quiet zones? We were doing u-turns (lost) next to someones house at one stage

When we hit the first Quiet Zone after Checkpoint 1 (road to area with cp2). Scott comes over the Radio...THERE'S A COP GUYS, BE CAREFUL.

I drive out to the road, someone is yelling JUST GO JUST GO on the CB. Cop screams for me to pull over so I do (saying "Sorry Mate, just wanted to get off the road ;) ). All he wanted to know is what was going on. Scott suddenly comes over the CB going HE'S PULLED SOMEONE OVER!!! BE CAREFULL!!

Cop was standing there...AT MY WINDOW SCOTT hahaha!!! He just laughed...but Geeez you got good timing mate :finger:

Yeah, it was Wes. I spoke to Rod last night, and he told me he took his GU ute on the run. So it couldn't have been him.
Incidentally, it was Rod and Julie Reardon in the gold GU ute that got 2nd place. Apparently clean sheeted the checkpoints in an unlocked car. Not bad. They missed a few boards, which cost them the outright.
