Dual transfer case vs Rock crawling gears for a GU

Post by nispro4x4 »

hey all

I own an 05 ST coil cab so far i have put in a 5" lift" i just got
new tyres 35x11.5" simex ET2 and now low range is a bit to high.
So now im not sure what do get a dual transfer is going to cost me
around $2500 in total were as the gears should only cost me $1600.

What should I do :?: :?: :?:

dont worry about the cost, just get both. If its a new ute, you`re already forked out 54 grand, so 5 more shouldnt hurt too much.

35s are too small for serious rock work anyway. I found 38s fit well.

i ran 35s for a year with 4.88 diff gears and is excellent.(04 gu ute).

next comp(trials) will be 37 claws and pecker 38 boggers so the low range is going to be a bit higher. :D
