Hi Guys and Gals,
Looking at getting a Zook ute as a daily driver, I've got my eye on one at the moment which is pretty rough and could use some work to get on the road. My question is what mods should I be doing along the way, there won't be a lot of dollars to go around but I would rather only do things once, do want to buy something and replace it one year later.
It's a 1.3lt 5 speed.
What problems should I be on the look out for, it's apparantly leaking a bit of oil from the front of the engine and making a noise in 4th gear.
Any help is apprieciated.

I had a quick look at the bible but I'm just after ppl's suggestions on what mods are best valve for money, zook wise. I have a 100 series that I'll be keeping that's lifted locked and wearing MTRs so I know what makes most 4WD perform, just interested in whats the best for my situation.

I use my ute as daily driver, only 1ltr 4speed.
new 2" lifted springs and shocks, and 30x9.5 muddies on 15x7 rims. Made a world of differance. Better on road , much better off. Dont need to change gears( but would be nice ) lift body or sell the house.

Gearing seems the go, anywhere do it cheaper then $1K. Should I be going the series I or III gears? What offset does the F wheels give compared to the zook ones. I'd like to go 32"s offroad how much guard cutting is required if I go 2" lift? Chassis extention sounds likely too.
