Hey Peoples, Running a pretty well stock fj45. Just has a 3" body lift and the tray has also been lifted. Just wondering if anyone knows if the simex JT2 34" would fit under my rig?
Also just wanted to know a reasonable price to pay for the 34" JT2? I am in QLD and wondering if I will get any problems with the authorities running this tyre on road?

all signs say yes. i've seen 34 inch jt2's under a stock 40 (with a little guard trimming)Funk_off wrote:Hey Peoples, Running a pretty well stock fj45. Just has a 3" body lift and the tray has also been lifted. Just wondering if anyone knows if the simex JT2 34" would fit under my rig?

so 3 inches of body lift should have you sweet. only clearnce issue should be the steering rod that runs along the outside of your drivers side chassis rail, but either don't turn to full lock, or wind out your steering stops. so it's no big issue, and even 33's will hit it.
running the tyre on the road is illegal i believe (unless their speed rated and DOT approved, because a 40 can run a bias ply) but if your sensible, and only run them to and from wheeling you shouldn't cop too much attention... and i wouldn't use them on road for any more, because they wear faster, are more $$$ than a street tire, and also i hear their terrible in the wet
