I want to purchase a good on-board air compressor, and have pretty much narrowed my choices down to a Clisby or Endless Air. Any other advice would however be welcomed.
Can anyone point me towards an Aus online webstore from which the same can be ordered. Have seen Clisby's offered at Big Balls, but no luck with Endless Air.

The endless air is the way to go, but I wouldnt buy one, build it yourself. If your 4wd isnt air coned then grab a mount and drive pulley from a wreck then buy a Sanden compressor. Tap a thread into the sump plug to suit a grease nipple. There are a number of ways you can wire it in.
Volvo's,Early V8 Falcon's,A lot of 6cyl XD Falcon's and Early Range Rover's are just some i have regularly seen fitted with the York pump. The york pump is the best to use however it is bulky that is why most people use the SD508 Sanden pumps as these are a much more compact unit.
Next question, what do the Sanden pumps come out of? I was thinking of using a pump from a hilux 2L diesel as these seem to be a compact unit, but I'm not sure if the pump internals have a separate sump or if they are oiled from the air supply. from there I would just filter off the oil/water emulsion with a coalescing filter. RUFF?

Thanks for the advice folks - unfortunately I have the engineering expertise of a medieval hungarian stomach pump, but really appreciated the feedback and links suggested.
