Feroza been stolen

Post by newbyferoza »

Hey guys and girls, my feroza was stolen outside of school today (I am a prac students at uni), don't know what time, but rear window was smashed as there was glass everywhere. The cops reckon it was some kids at the high school around the corner ;) I rang my insurance and they said they will cover me, but if not found or destroyed they will only give me $5 000 - not happy. My loan is six so could be without a car and down a thousand bucks

Anyway was stolen at Logan

cheers Nico

Yeah Nico - Thats a low act mate. Our condolences.

You will find the finance will be OK for another, especially with only 1K to finish the loan out.

very sorry to hear

From what I hear ferozas are rarely stolen by professional thieves because its hard to sell the parts (small market). If that's the case for you it'll probably be a joy ride and dump... and you'll get it back

You don't work so some thieving little prick can steal your stuff :x

Sorry to hear about your situation mate. Hope the little fuckers get what they deserve.
As for the insurance pay out, I don't know it works elsewhere, but in the
UK the general rule of thumb is never accept their first offer. Always
hold out for more and it usually pays off. Of course let's hope you get
your ride back in one piece anyway.

thanks for the nice replies guys, sorry have not been on the web all weekend as was helping my mate in his new house.

Great News, cops found the feroza down at Lindum in the swamp behind Iona College, It has been bush bashed to the pulp apparently. Going to see it at my insurers today, they say that there is mud all over it and the bullbar has been broken off it, but it seems ok.

cheers nico, will give some results this arvo

I hope it all works out but i'd say that's the worst possible outcome. If its been thrashed the insurance will fix panel damage and stuff, but who knows, a couple of months from now you may have to fix a gearbox or engine cuz they drove it like a mongrel  Dont think that you can claim mech damage can you??

Sounds like the damage will be enough to possibly write it off? Bullbar ripped off, rear window smashed, thrashed until it stopped.... if it's only valued at $5000 then they'll most likely write it off. Possibly would be the best outcome given whats happened.

well went and had a look yesterday and not as bad as I expected :? The bullbar was still on but just had a big dent in it. Rear window was smashed, the dumb asses ran out of fuel, lucky I only had a quarter in it, so they did not go too far. There is mud all over the car and engine. They took the cd player and left one speaker but took one :?:

No actaul panel damage but the bullbar and window which was good and when the insurers put fuel in it it ran fine they said. I will be able to get a mechanic friend of mine to go oveer it they said which will be good. Should be ready to pick up in about two weeks. I complained to them that the suspension was a bit weird and soft and they said they will replace most of it

"Hi, insurance company??"

"Yes"

"I have had my Feroza back for a week now and there seems to be a problem with the driveline..."

"Oh, what is it?"

"The dual air lockers dont seem to be working anylonger..."

"Well, you have my guarantee that we will fix that as soon as possible sir!!."

"Thankyou, thankyou very much."

"Sorry for the inconvenience sir."

"No problem..."
