Post by Julian_4x4 »

Has Anyone here ever intergrated an alternating flasher unit into there car headlights?

I'm attempting this setup and coming to the conclusion i have to seperate the full bean switch wire and main power to run each headlight on a seperate circuit.

Post by mgundle »

you can buy the alternating flashing headlight wiring kit ive fitted them to tow cars, call out vehicles and for some un known reason a courtesy car wtf!!!
a auto motive electrical supplier should be able to get them im pretty sure the kits is $$$ and it comes with a stern warning FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES ONLY! but as all the customers who as me to fit them they go if i get caught well i get caught !
can i ask what you want it for???

I'm not rigging it up sor silly purposes!!
I've got a little Narva alternating flasher unit.
Im doing this cause i own a farm and need to warn other traffic when shifting cattle on the road, they dont really give a shit about hazard lights.

you can build one with a simple timer and a few relays. I have built a few for the RTA , airport etc........ not very hard.
