Any hidden things i should be aware of?

nope they are piss easy to fit i used a safari one on my MK and was strait forward you drill through three layers of steel in the guard when u drill your big hole so dont be scared when drilling.
GQ LWB TD42, boost, lockers etc

Any Idea where I can purchase a Safari Snorkel?
Not easy to find in the UK. Is there an inporter into the Uk that anybody knows of?

Find an ARB supplier. I've seen HEAPS of ARB sponsored comp vehicles from pommyland. You shouldn't have any problems getting one through them. If not, i'm sure someone on here would be more than happy to act as a middle-man. In fact, i'm pretty sure one of the guys here works for ARB....

Try Specialist Leisure, Devon 4x4 or Nene Overland. Will your local Landy specialist not order your type of Safari snorkel. It`s all business to them. Frogs Island may have one too.
