Lifting an F78 Rocky

Post by Floody_1985 »

G'day All,
Just wondering if anyone has lifted their Rocky's (in particular the F78 model) up a few inches, and roughly the cost of the project??

Been doing a fair bit of 4WD the last few weeks, and finding she bottoms out easier than I thought. Particually when you have 4 people in it,.

Cheers

Hey champ...

I recently bought an F78 and have been looking into lifts also.

I found raised springs for $220 to lift the rear 40mm... fit some bigger tyres under and give some more clearance.
You'd also need shocks and Ranchos were about $250 a pair.
You can raise the front by winding up the torsion bars.. but new heavy duty ones will cost about $530...
That was through 4wd1.biz...

Ironman also do a lift package (DAI011bkg) which is raised coil springs, torsion bars and 4 shocks..

I'll let you know if I found out any more info mate. :D

P.S- Your bullbar looks sweet as... where did u pick it up from??

Thanks for that HotFour.

The bullbar was on it when I bought it 2 years ago now. Still struggling to work out what brand it is, :?.

Here's another shot of it for you.

Cheers
