I like this design, nice and simple. Might do it to my brand spanker 36" TSLs.
I think you will get bad chuncking if you go too crazy.
Do you have a groover? Caus I do

Would cost me the same in petrol for the Q to get to manjimup and back with a trailer as it would to get the guy who is doing my tyre repair to do it .Just on that Joes Tyre repair in Bayswater is doing the repair fully vulcinised for $45 cant beat that he wants $25 a tyre to groove them any pattern you want. Was thinking of going dodge and using a grinder as i dont no anyone with a groover or anywhere i could borrow or higher one from thats close by thanks for the offer Paul
having a tyre siped and running low presure it tyre actually opens up where it has been cut giving it more flex and more grip and contact to the terrain, wear as groving the lugs makes for just extra contacting edgesmuppet_man67 wrote:what would the affect of this be to actually cutting a gap in each lug?RUFF wrote:I used a stanley knife to Sipe my KrawlersTook me 42 min to do all 4 still on the car. I put 3-4 10mm deap cuts in ever lug
anyway thats what i have always believed...

Did it used s 4 1/2 grinder was easy just a bit smokey and dirty but went ok and cost me nothing I just grooved from the center lugs out so each of the center lugs is now 3 pieces will post a picture went down to the depth of the wear bars and a grinding discs width about 6mm will let you no how they are
There are some pics of how i grooved my 39's up here..
