i run 24 psi in them on my lux every day for about town work and they run a pretty good contact patch, with the added weight of a 80 24 should have em sitting nice and flat

I'm not knocking the tyre performance cause you all sound pretty happy, but I gotta tell you, I'd be pretty pissed if my new treads "crowned" like that!!!

It's seems to me you're making a lot of excuses for a poorly designed tyre. Swampers, Simexs, Claws are all rag tyres yet none of them do that. I think Maxxis should be making some new moulds for those bad boyz ...

Not trying to piss anyone off, just my 2c.

as i understamd it the maxxis creepies have been designed to have a lot of flex in the tread, and very strong sidewalls. for this reason they crown with no load on them, and don't require much pressure to retain their height. mine run across the full tread on the road (approx 20psi) with the weight of the truck on them and at 8-10psi offroad the traction is great. so far they have outdone the centipedes in every terrain i have been, the weight and width does take its toll on steering though.

Yep...mine crowned too.

I ran them at 24psi on road and thought that I could go lower.

8 - 10 psi off-road though with no probs.

They look awesome Cranky

Had mine at 5psi today with no beadlocks.

Did not mean to go that low...but one of my mates stuffed with my stauns and 5psi was what I ended up with

I could easily crawl up wet - and I mean water flowing over them - rocksteps with minimal wheelspin, and found that the slower I went, the more they gripped

They ate up some really greasy mud hills and made light work of the entire day, really.

I luv em :P

All in all i am very happy with them, cept they are a bit scary on rd.. they make the pedes feel like a highway tyre on the rd :-\

But used them in clay and that real crap black soil and they seem really good... ;D
