Weber Carb mods

Post by cplux »

Hi,

Have just fitted a weber 34 adm carb off a falcon to my 4y hilux. I am trying to figure out how to better make it run on angles, any ideas? I know i'll never get it working real well, but it'll have to do till i can afford injection, and also the carb and adapter kit were free.

I am thinking of drilling 2 holes at the rear of the float chamber (one either side of float) and inserting tubes at appropriate height that the fuel can spill into when on angles, this will flow/be pumped into a holding tank then pumped out and re-used. I will have issues too with my supercharger, but if all pressures are relative it should work the same.

suggestions?? will post pics of carb inners when i get time to take some

gas would be an option but i cannot fit a decent size tank anywhere.
