Some people live in the middle of nowhere and can't exactly pop down to their local dicksmith/bunnings/4wd superstore as it's 10 hours away.

I know some places will do mail order but sometimes it's easier to ebay than do the running around.

eg. I used to sell Dremels through ebay for between 20-50% more than you could get them at Bunnings, but I was sending them to places I've never heard, out the back of "fark knows", WA, NT, etc ...
