I will post up pics and prices next week :D
As for Telstra techs, I would like to thank Kent ( a known Telstra tech)for doing my lines and conections 6 days quicker than Telstra had booked me in for. :D

Mate i am only going by HILUX CV's (what i have seen they are very similar) your nissan ones should not JUST break if you were not wheeling very hard!

The steering stops does have a HUGE effect on CV's.

With HILUX's there are bolts on the swival hubs that can be wound out, when the wheels are turned they hit against little stops that are welded to the diff!

Put you car in full lock and crawl under and have a look! (once again i am not sure if nissans are set up like this but i would imagine they are all very similar)

When you find it wind all the stops out a touch. YES this will restrict your steering lock slightly but it is a small price to pay compared to replacing CV's!

Also was the CV you put in brand new or second hand!

I have found if using second hand CV (your mad to pay for new ones) it sometimes can be luck of the draw, you don't know how much work they have done!

Cheers

it was a second hand one from a 96 patrol was a work truck by the looks of it .. never did much off road ...

so if I my steering goes to far it'll do the cv's ...
then why didn't it bust both of them?
I just went out to see if it was similar to what u are saying and it is ...
when I get the new ones I'll screw them all the way out ... crap turning circle is a small price to pay for replacing cv's for sure ... no like a 4wd has a good turning circle anyhow ahahahahaha

I need to raise my bullbar now after the body lift ... mr plough thats my name .. my name again is mr plough :finger:

The website is not ready yet. We are in the process of getting it sorted it will be up very soon. Rest assured there will be some sort of notice given on this site, especially seeing that Cheezy is a moderator we can do all sorts of stuff :D

Your best bet is to get in touch with Cheezy either thru here all tho he is so busy he doesn't surf here as much or give him a call 03 9761 8111
