I won't be going as big as Ferozius. 33s will be the max aim, but initially, doing my body lift in a week or two and putting 31s on. Then swap out the front axle, put in 5.29s and keep the 31s...then SPOA and 33s
Welded front. I love it, no more having to thrash the hell out of it. Just plod along, get one wheel up it (one is usually in the air hehe) and I'm done.
Side effects, steering wants to return to center more, so it takes a little more effort to hold turns, turning circle is larger going forward, on grippy climbs can pull you sideways if you don't keep an eye on it, but these are all common with all diff locks when they are engaged. I've done 60kph on a dirt road in 4wd, it's fine.
Diff is a lot stronger now it's welded, it's a weak point of the Feroza (rear is plenty strong, just weak front). CV's and other stuff will go before the diff does, which is good because replacement diffs cost a fortune.
