So are they daily driver tires?runnin4life wrote:ill mostly be doing rock and a bit of mud
You want AT's or MT's
How much do you wanna spend?
is bling important?
What will you be doing most of?
EG 80% road 20% offroad?
...... or buy my nearly new onesDAMKIA wrote:$180-190 gets you a new Simex MT Centipede. Good allrounder, similar pattern to MT/R's.
If you are in Melbourne and prepared to wait about three months![]()

Actually they are a pretty good tyre for the money and they have a liitle bigger void thatn the MTR for clearing mud but they don't have any side lugging.

31's are retreads as runnin4life said. The 32's and up are monoforms which means new rubber bead to bead so basically new tyre except for carcass which is under guarantee anyway. Plus if you look at the diameter measurements on the site the 32 is a small 32 being just over 31.5" inches. Got mine for $185 each in 32" monoform. I believe MTR's are around the $230 mark in a 31.remoulds. but anyway.

any ways im pretty sure the mongrels will fit my bill
cheap
and are good on rock and mud (am i correct in saying this)
road doesnt matter to me cus i there is already enough noises in the car so that wont bother me and my car aint the fastest thing out there so i dont think on road will be a problem
cheers
if any oneh as any thing further to add to this discussion please do
I had motorway 'groundhog' MT's, cheap as chips yes, but they wore down to unroadworthy condition in about 8 monthsRed_Zook wrote:Motor way mud teralins...
