Well guys I have installed the extended rotor just to see for myself what all the hype is, she does idle a bit better , but Ive seemed to have lost out on power to pull up hills at the normal rotor gave me. I took it for a drive over to the Northern Beaches today and there is some wicked hill to climb especially around Forestville, from Penrith to Dee Why is about a 3 hour round trip so she got a real good work out.
I'll give it a couple of weeks before I decide whether to keep or turf it, but first impressions "THUMBS DOWN"

yeah i know all that, but the limiter is at 5200, not 6000rpmBowTieGQ wrote:Hottiemonster, those springs in the top of the rotor button are a rev limiter. Centrifugal forces push it outwards and it earths on the posts mounted on the plate below cap, killing off a cylinder each time it passes. It should only come in at about 6000rpm. I doubt many people have found that out.
