Cruiser Removing Kidneys
Gday guys, Ive got a HZJ75 ute, I recently splerged and bought 16x8 alloy rims with 285,75x16 BFG MT,s to replace the standard split rims, the prob is the ride feels heaps harder. I've tried dropping the pressure but that started to stuff the edges of the tyres. Any ideas ?
DJD, im sure its not the tryes as ive had them and found them great on an 80's. ran them at 38 all round as they are a very soft compound.
does it feel firmer at the front or back of the ute, a seized shock or 2 can do wonders if you enjoy bruised kidneys.
( i could lend u my grandma to roll into the back of the ute, at 4ft 13in and 130kg she'll flatten it out nicely )

Guzzla funny you should mention some weight in the back, Ive got 2 toolboxes & filled it up with scaffold the other day & it did make a difference. I might wip the shocks out and take a look on the weekend, there are 8 leaves in the back 6 thin 2 at the bottom are short & thicker is it worth taking 1 or 2 out ?
the bottom two "short and thicker" are load leave's. when there is weigh in the rear your spring's will sang and stop at these leave's. if you remove them it will flex better but be poo with weighy in the rear. i think might be wrong.DJD wrote:Guzzla funny you should mention some weight in the back, Ive got 2 toolboxes & filled it up with scaffold the other day & it did make a difference.
