this is probly a stupid question but
i wanna know, its just a standard dif on the front and lsd on the back
will the rear lsd bolt straight into the front?
or do you have to rebuild the front to be an lsd?
because im thinking i wanna put lsd in the front and put an air locker in the back

Re: diff question
why not just put locker in front? save a fuck lot of effort and $matthewK wrote: because im thinking i wanna put lsd in the front and put an air locker in the back
as was said before a gq rear lsd wiil not fit the front. I however have a rear pathfinder lsd fitted to my front diff cost about $800 to get done professionally. (Alot cheaper than the $2000 they wanted for a air locker!!!) The limmo works great! maybe as good as a locker? hard to say. But if your gona get a air locker fitted, I strongly suggest it be put in the front and get the rear limmo serviced and tweeked.
i got nothin

The limmo don't work great if you have one wheel in the air... Which will most likely be the case with the front of a pootrol. Save you $$$ go a front locker. Don't be afraid to look at auto lockers either, they may be suited to your application - they may not be..
The rear end of a patrol is quite flexy and this is a contributing factor as to why the rear lsd is so effective. That is how I see it anyway.
