rims and tyres HELP
hi 4 wheelers can my mate put 31 or 32 on a standed height pajero can some one HELP me and has any one in the ipswich or brisy area has got a set of 15in or 16in rims to suit 1993
go hard or go home!
31x10.5 should fit a standard height Pajero with no problems - if the suspension has sagged they may rub a little.
Some people are running 32" tyres without trouble, while others find they rub - it probably depends on the width of the tyre, and the offset of the rim.
15x8" steel wheels (ROH) can normally be bought new for around $70 each. Browse through the classifieds here and you can sometimes find a bargain.
Cheers,
Scott

I've got a 96 NJ and running 235/85R16's which is equivalent to 32's I'm led to believe - and no problems at all.
A wider tyre could be a problem but I've got no experience in that area.
My Only issue is that Ive got a set of (HEAVY DUTY) snow / mud chains that may rub (argh) on full lock but haven't put them to the test yet - but worth thinking about if fitting bigger tyres and considering the need to (posible) use chains at some time in the future.
Cheers
