sierra gbox outputs

Post by antt »

do the sierra gearbox's (4 and 5 speed) have the same output shafts? and hence use the same jackshaft (obviously with different flanges)? or are they different?

I had to change end of jack shaft after fitting 1.3 into my 1.0, so
splines are different sizes.
but the two jackshafts can use half of each as a conversion.
mine is a 1.3 jackshaft, with half a 1.0 yoke at the t case end.
1.3 jackshaft is 12mm ish shorter, too.
