I thought the problem with the JPeater was getting hold of YJ springs to fit. Heaps of flex and all, but as YJ did not come out in Australia the springs are rare as hens teeth. Even though OME make them they are not stocked here.

Geoffrey Dick, how have you found this kit? are you running it SPOA or SPUA? What springs did you run? Have you raised the shock mounts too?

yj springs very hard to get but i managed to find some in australia. cheap in the USA but freight would be dear. only just put them on, ie.not used yet. need custom shock mounts etc and very long shocks. curently running ome hilux but will go to ranchos b4 i taake it off road. need new driveshafts, because stock too short. running SPOA with 2inch body lift, easilt runs 33 but could run 35's with a bit of panel work. easy to install just need to drill a couple of holes. instructions with the kit are not avaliable which is crappy. any more questions just ask. can supply pictures if you want just specify what kind of pics. i live in belgrave pm me if anyone wants to come and have a look. my next project is to s/c my 1.6 vit engine!

ok. guess i wasnt really interested in doing the jpeater kit, but...
how have you found it? build quality of components?
how was it to install?
good service from the company? eg. prompt service?
any do's or dont's?

anyone else know much about the kit i was reffering to?

thanks for the replies

service from rro can be good to really really bad, i have had both experiences. there are other companies that are probably better to deal with from the states. my last order from rro was great and came in about a week another order took over a year!
very poor instructions on their products

aren't the ome springs raised or are they stock? more lift may not be desirable. when i was buying arb said that they were not listed.
