Will a NAVMAN work as a normal GPS ?

Post by Draven »

Hey guys.... Im starting to seriously look at getting a decent GPS.. Ive done a search and read a bit, but i cant seem to figure out if any of the Navman products will act as a normal GPS when offroad ?

Eg

General Direction, speed etc.
GPS Co ords, way points.
trial marking etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Glen.

I use destinator PN on my Pocket PC and it gives you all the usual stuff like direction, speed, lat and long and directions to boot.

Navman stuff is pretty good but I couldn't justify the expense when I already had a perfectly good pocket pc pda sitting there
