has anybody ever seen one for them ??? mine's an 04'2.5L grand vitara LWB the rear open centre is really starting to shit me....... and i don't wanna fit an air locker cos it's the daily driver\tow rig

Suzuki New Zealand had/has them on their accessory list. You might want to check with them.
edit. You may have a problem in that the later GV apparently has a different size R&P. If you had an early model you could also get one from Calmini. You could swap your centre for an early model but for all that mucking around and dollars I'd be putting in an airlocker.

I too would vote airlocker. Most LSD's are pretty ineffective IMHO and if they are efective they will screw with the daily drivability by dragging tyres in carparks etc.
I have also found that even stock LSD's tend to provoke power oversteer, which is kind of fun when you are 18, but would loose its appeal in a GV.
I'm sure you know this oozuk, but for the benefit of general information,
(Obviously), With an open diff, if you are exiting a corner hardish and put power on, the inside wheel will spin. however, with an LSD, the small % of power that is transferred to the outside wheel can be enough for it to break traction, and you end up in a slide, when with an open diff, the car would hold its line. I found this was the case with the LSD I had in my Hilux, when the next one I had with an airlocker and heaps more power was much more predictable, esp. in the wet.
PS as a side note, Traction control can do the same thing. Our Mini will drift wide when the traction control applies the brake to the inside wheel and pushes power into the outside wheel. The car hold it line much better with the traction control off.

i'm well aware of how it works and yes i still get a kick out driving like i'm 18;) every now and then, i'm not looking to shimming the crap out of it, just looking for some slight extra traction in the rear
