i have had nothing but trouble and bad advise everything has been over engineered so as it will be safe it is shameful that certain people and companies will either not give acuate advice or none at all and yes i have posted quite a bit but isnt that the point of a forum?

Are you running the center rear diff? i was thinking it could be offset if you used an early gq ute housing and drivers side axle (a couple of inches skinnier than a gq waggon) and a custom longer axle for the pas side, you could offset the diff to suit a landy. cost would be one custom axle and a lengthened housing tube on one side.

just a thought.....

a double cardon joint wont correct any off centre vibration unless the diff housing is bent to the drivers side at the tcase output. :silly:

But a duel double cardan shaft (DC joint at both ends) will. so long as the diff is brough back parralel with the tcase outputs (not facing up to it like in a single cardon joint setup).

This was one of the reasons why i favoured the 80series diff swap.

the vibration mine has is only evedent when you back off it does not vibrate up 2 140 under power as the ag unis seen to work well but the transfer end is at a fair angle and when i mated the front double cardin joint onto the rear shaft (same spline)it took it all out except vibrated a little due to the fact that it was slightly out of phase but when i pay my shocks off i will be geting a dc put into the rear
