My alarm has started to play silly buggers.
The clicker doesn't seem to have any effect, and yes I have changed the batteries.
The clicker light goes on as it is supposed to but the alarm doesn't arm. However, sometimes I think something must be getting through because it can end up with the doors not locked but the alarm set or vica versa.
I've resorted to using the key to lock/arm and unlock/disarm and it seems to work alright then.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this year, (the diagram I have is for a 1995 and has a different system), so I can look at replacing the alarm with an aftermarket system but retain the central locking.

1993 alarm
I tried resetting it as per instructions in a manual I've got but it didn't work. Ie, I didn't get the response from the LED that I was supposed to.
How do you advise reseting it?

Also, try taking the alarm fob to bits and check the circuit board for broken solder joints. www.remotekey.com.uk is a good website to find out all about quick fixes and diagnostics for these and all other lucas 10AS etc alsrms.
