Driveline clunk in Feroza wide track?

Post by cookiemonster »

A Feroza that I am looking to purchase seems to have an excessive amount of backlash in the driveline. To the point of it clunks.

How much lash is normal?

Check where the backlash is coming from, if its only just a UNI in the drive shaft, could still okay, but if its in the transfer or diff, might be better to let it pass.

Check the lhs engine mount.... mine got noticably quieter when I replaced that.
