80 series GXL with rubber flares?
Does any have an 80 series GXL with rubber aftermarket flares? I'd really like to see a picture of one to see what it looks like. I damaged the front passenger fibreglass flare on Rocky Track on Saturday so I'm tossing up on whether to try and repair it or just put rubber flares on.
if their fiberglass their not factory flares.
get factory flares as they are a strong plastic and very hard to crack, they just bend in and out........sit down for the price though as the rears are $140 each last time i checked.
they also sit out a little bit more aswell which is good thing.

They are definately factory flares. The factory ones actually bolt to the guard ( holes are pre drilled from factory on GXL guards )where as the aftermarket ones screw or rivet to the lip on the guard. The aftermarket ones are available through TJM (which I have on mine) and arent available individually, only in a set of 4. They are about $500 for 4. May want to check a wrecker and paint one to match yours. As said previously, the OEM ones are more expensive again. FYI - both are made of fibreglass.
