We finally used a front propshaft modified at the rear.

No vibrations, no problems, this one propshaft works very well, we are very happy with this mod.

Image

We had the gearbox and transfer case completely reconditioned, no short cuts, this photo shows the double cardan joint.

Note, to be able to fit a front propshaft to the rear, you have to use a front output flange, the std rear output is too small for the front propshaft, thus we were lucky we have spare to use.

Note The American flag in the background and the OME shocks.

whats the idea wth the tag welded on the selector fork coming outta the box. :? :)
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

The reason for the tag welded on that selector is for the gear lever, this is the short stumpy lever that selects either low or high range, you must remember my vehicle now has the twin shifter as well and then the normal gear lever for 1 to 5 gear selection.
If you look at the photo again you will in fcat see that the other selector rod is missing, this was used when the vehicle was std. For the selection of 2wd high and low range 4x4 :)
