The Sierra and the Samurai are actually diferent. The Samurai has the steering wheel in the left hand side. :finger:

The place where it should be

well actualy,

it's only called a sierra in Australia, the rest of the world call it a samurai.
could have somthing to do with most of the known world, being able to get the ford sierra.

Yeh its a bit hard when searching for info on the Suzuki Sierra. Youve got not only the Suzuki Sierra, but the Ford Sierra and GMC Sierra.

Also some parts of the world call it the SJ413 or SJ410 and have the steering wheel on the right aswell. It would be gr8 if Suzuki introduced it as the samurai so its not as confusing.....anyone no the reason why they did this????

THe sj bit is explained by the VIN number, go read your VIN numver and it will have sj70 ofr leafy, or sj80 for coily, or whatever. All manufatcurers VIN numvers explain the details of a car, EG
6h8 = incidates Australian manufatcturer, holden
vxk = indicates VX model, executive class
69A2 = indecates sedan,V6, 02 model ( i think, memory is average even though i worked for holden for 5 years)
L459876 = chassis number.

welding it and using a spool are illegal, not sure on autolockers, air lockers i believe are legal if you put a sign in clear view on the dash near the locker switches explaining the on road consequenses to handling etc.-doesnt mean they can be used on road though!

Rang up qld transport today (on hold for 30 mins) the guy said the wheels are NOT to be locked on road and he said detroits and lockrights ARE illegal as well as welded etc, air lockers can be used as long as they arent locked on the road.

That ruined my day...but the good news is Air lockers, here i come!

I would double check that.. it is simply a very very limited slip diff :D
